I am hearing you guys say that you have a lot of homework. Remember, when you don't understand something, it feels like it takes a long time and there is a lot of it. This is when you need the extra practice!!! Every night do some of the problems over, until they seem to go a lot faster.

Could somebody explain number 12 on 6.4 to me????
For #12 in 6.4, remember you have to put the x1 and x2 labels and the y1 and y2 labels. after that you put y1 and y2 over x1 and x2(it would look like this: -6--2 over 6--7)remember that two minus signs equal a positive. it would then look like this: -6+2 over 6+7. solve and you would get -4 over 13 and you cannot simplify. did this help?

sorry!:( the previous comment i submitted was incorrect. it is supposed to be -6--7 over -2-6. the two - signs would create a positive and the answer would be 1 over -8 if you were to solve. Hope this helps! :)
